The view of the azure blue Pacific Ocean will dazzle guests as you walk along the sea cliffs. You might also have a chance to view some of La Jolla's furriest locals – seals! These endearing mammals are dotted along the coastline, especially near the Children's Pool, a shallow tide-pool popular with the locals that the seals have claimed as their own. It is not hard to see why La Jolla (whose name means "The Jewel") is truly the jewel of San Diego.
Passport to Balboa Park

Upon arrival, guests will receive a "passport" to Balboa Park, an admission book that allows them access to several of the park's historic museums. Guests will have the option to embark on a leisurely walking tour through the park with their ACCESS Destination Services - San Diego Field Representative, or enjoy the park entirely on their own!
How about visiting the Aerospace Museum where the history and majesty of flight comes alive! Real-life aircrafts are suspended from the ceiling and dotted all over the museum, giving visitors insight into the people, aircraft and the fascinating story of flight.
Another popular museum is the San Diego Museum of Art which is the region's oldest and largest art museum and houses a fine selection of European old masters, 19th and 20th century American art,. An encyclopedic Asian collection, and growing collections of contemporary and Latin American art are also on display.
In addition to these and other museums, your guests will have access to the Spanish Village Art Center. The buildings were originally created for use in the 1935-36 California Pacific International Exposition and are an authentic reproduction of an ancient village in Spain. Subsequently the colony was transformed into an arts and cultural center, one of the most unique organizations of its kind in the world. Over forty studios and galleries surround the colorful patios, including ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, enameling, and painting in many mediums.
