Ever since the publication of his first business book In Search of Excellence, Tom has been labeled many things. Bo Burlingham, Inc., has called him, "the Red Bull of management thinkers." The Los Angeles Times named Tom, "The father of the post-modern corporation," and The Economist tagged him as the "Uber-guru" of management. What remains consistent is that Tom has been a revolutionizing force in the business world, constantly rethinking the role of management and the aims of current business practices and strategic initiatives.
Widely known for co-authoring the influential In Search of Excellence, with Robert Waterman, Tom almost single-handedly invented the public management guru industry, now global in scope and billions of dollars in size. Since research on this book began he has given well over 2,500 speeches, flown 5,000,000+ miles, spoken before 2,000,000 to 3,000,000 people and presented in 48 states and 67 countries. In Search of Excellence was honored by NPR as one of the "Top Three Business Books of the Century" and it was ranked as the "greatest business book of all time" in a poll by Britain's Bloomsbury Publishing.
Constantly challenging the status quo and reinventing his visionary ideas, attendees will listen to Tom share his latest thoughts on the business management model with his signature style of thought-provoking claims and cut-to-the-chase mentality in his presentation, "Re-imagine."

For his successes as head of the Folds of Honor Foundation, Dan has received the White House's Presidential Volunteer Service Award, the Air National Guard's Distinguished Service Medal, the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, and the PGA of America's first-ever Patriot Award.
