This session provides an overview of the professional development and team building exercises that are part of the "learning map." Jennifer will show how using the interactive Learning Map can impart the industry's history and philosophy. While working in groups, participants will discover how philosophy is good business.

The Art & Science of Helping Adults Learn

An adult learner is more self-directing, brings a lifetime of experience to the table and is internally motivated to learn subject matter that can be applied immediately. In this session, we will explore Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences and have the opportunity to apply each of the intelligences to our subject matter. Angela will also discuss the 70/20/10 Model and how it can change the way we approach traditional learning.
