As a credit union financial manager or CFO, each choice you make is a permanent one. You can't test out the results and change your decision if things go wrong. CUNA Financial Management Schools were created for that very purpose.
Attend CUNA Financial Management School and manage a credit union's finances first-hand, avoiding the risks involved in making real-life, complex financial decisions by using a sophisticated asset-liability management simulation. Parts 1 and 2 of the school involve working with a team to address the various problems that arise in the simulation and competing against other teams to gain experience working in a competitive marketplace.
- Part 1 - Get hands-on-experience working with a team through financial scenarios provided by an asset-liability management model. The content covered includes Financial Ratios, Asset Liability, Financial Management, Investments, Forecasting and more.
- Part 2 - The financial theories discussed in Part 2 will move beyond the introductory stages and touch upon high level decision making such as strategic financial forecasting for long-term growth. Past participants include CEOs, CFOs, VPs and other senior management positions.
- Part 3 - Work through issues specific to your own credit union in productive discussions with a supportive group of educated peers and industry experts. The ALM simulation model is not used in the Part 3 content.
